The World Mission Society Church of God keeps establishing new church buildings while they teach people that the end of the world is near. Why do they establish new church buildings?


[Countermeasure]
1. Their insistence is the very thought of eschatologists

Their thought, “We do not need to establish new church buildings since we are in the last days,” is actually the thought of time-limited eschatologists!
Apostles thought that the days 2,000 years ago were the last times (1 Pe 1:20). Since it was the last times, did they neglect to preach the gospel and think that they didn’t need to build churches? Not at all! Rather, they set the churches throughout the Roman Empire all the more and led many souls to salvation. Likewise, we should also establish more churches to lead more souls to salvation. What on earth is the problem?


2. The church that is more enlarged in this age is the Zion prophesied in the Bible

Do they know what the Bible prophesies would happen in the true church in the last days?
It is prophesied that many nations and people will stream to Zion, and that those who return to Zion will ask God to enlarge their place, and that they will enlarge their tent. So according to the prophecy of the Bible, we are building many churches.
Therefore, their insistence maybe comes from ignorance of prophecies in the Bible. Or they may just be envious and jealous of us since the prophecies of the Bible are being fulfilled in Zion.
Mic 4:1-2 In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and peoples will stream to it. Many nations will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.” The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
Isa 49:19-20 Lift up your eyes and look around; all your sons gather and come to you. [False Claim]

The Greek word “Theos” is the singular form of “God,” and it appears 309 times in the New Testament. Meanwhile, “Theoi” the plural form of “God” is written only five times, and these all refer to pagan gods. Therefore, God is only one in the singular form and Heavenly Mother does not exist.
Mk 12:29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God [Theos], the Lord is one.”
1 Co 8:5 For even if there are so-called gods [theoi], whether in heaven or on earth (as indeed there are many “gods” and many “lords”) . . .




[Countermeasure]
1. Neither add to nor subtract from the words of God

If the Greek word “Theos” means “God” in a singular form, does the word “us” in Genesis pass away? God the Creator Himself said, “us” (Ge 1:26). Then, how can the word pass away? Heaven and earth will pass away, but God’s words will never pass away (Mt 24:35).

God, who created all things and man, said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness.” He emphasized the plural word, even repeating three times. Therefore, their insistence is wrong because they deny the word God Himself said.

Those who try every way to hinder our truth surely know the words of Ge 1:26 which we quote the most. Despite that, they ignore the word God Himself said and only stick to the Greek word. What do you think their identity is?

As long as the words of Ge 1:26 do not pass away, God the Creator must be a plural form of God who is referred to as “us” no matter how God was expressed in Greek.




2. The word elohim written 2,600 times in the Old Testament

Opposers emphasize that “Theos” in the singular form is used 309 times in the New Testament. However, “elohim” in the plural form is used even 2,600 times in the Old Testament. In terms of frequency, their evidence is weaker than the truth.

However, it is not a matter of frequency. Isn’t the word from God the most important?




3. Understanding how God is expressed as a singular form in the Bible

There is no problem when God who said, “us,” is expressed as a singular noun in Greek. That is because God can be described as one even though God is two: God the Father and God the Mother. This is the teaching of the Bible.

As you know, Adam and Eve were made in the image of God, in the likeness of God. In other words, they are the copies and shadows made according to the original figure, God, so we can understand God through them.

How many people are Adam and Eve? Certainly, they are two.

However, the Bible explains them as one instead of two. Though sin entered the world by the sins of two persons―Adam and Eve, the Bible testifies that it all happened through one person, Adam.
Ro 5:12-15 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man . . . Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam . . . For if the many died by the trespass of the one man . . .

Why does it say, “the trespass of the one man,” when there were two? It means that the Bible considers the two persons, Adam and Eve, as one body (Ge 2:24), and that Adam is the representation of the two.

In the sameway, God exists as God the Father and God the Mother, and we can consider both of them as one. Therefore, the fact that God is expressed in a singular noun can never deny the existence of Heavenly Mother.

[False Claim of NCPCOG]

After Christ Ahnsahnghong ascended, the church was divided into two groups; the “NCPCOG” and the “Church of God.” Therefore, the “World Mission Society Church of God” that believes in God the Mother is one of sectarianized churches and cannot be considered as the original church.




[Countermeasure]
1. The situation of the early Church

Their claim is just a childish play on words of those who are busy slandering the Church of God without studying the truth we preach.

In the manner that they insist, they must say that the early Church is not the original one, either. At Jesus’ first coming, people who did not receive the truth fully left the church. Just because there were such people, can they insist that the early Church which was led by the apostles is not the original Church of God Jesus established?
Jn 6:66 From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him.
1Ti 1:19-20 . . . Some have rejected these and so have shipwrecked their faith. Among them are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have handed over to Satan to be taught not to blaspheme.
1Jn 2:19 They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.

It is the same with the Church of God. Those who did not receive the teachings of Christ Ahnsahnghong left the church and made a group, but it does not mean that the Church of God was sectarianized.


2. Our church is the original authentic church

The last general meeting, which Christ Ahnsahnghong held when He was on this earth, was in January 1985.

When we find out where the people, who participated in the last general meeting, are now, the matter becomes clearer. Heavenly Mother, the General Pastor and elders who were with our Heavenly Father at that time, are now in the World Mission Society Church of God. Therefore, their claim that our church was divided is wrong.

Moreover, Father personally testified about Heavenly Mother. (Refer to 4, 5, 6 of 1-2). Therefore, the “World Mission Society Church of God,” which believes in Heavenly Mother whom Father testified about, is the original church that was established by Heavenly Father Ahnsahnghong.

If Christ Ahnsahnghong is the true God, how can the contents of the book He wrote be changed?
When you compare the 1993 edition of “The Mystery of God and the Spring of the Water of Life” with its 2000 edition, His prophecy of the end of the world in 40 years was taken out in the edition of 2000 because this prophecy was not fulfilled.Deleted part –“The Mystery of God and the Spring of the Water of Life,” published in 1993
“This word is about the last generation. Therefore, the last Church is the living saints who will transform and ascend to heaven, so the church that is established 40 years ago cannot unseal the seven thunders . . . Thus, this church is the last church that will end in 40 years.”







[Countermeasure]
1. The owner of the truth book

It is a big problem when a mere man changes the words in Christ Ahnsahnghong’s Truth Book without God’s permission. However, when Heavenly Mother who received all the Truth Books from Christ Ahnsahnghong allowed it to be changed, what is the problem?
Christ Ahnsahnghong left all His books to Heavenly Mother. Moreover, Father wrote, “I follow Mother,” in His sermon ‘Walking with God.’ It shows that Mother’s will is the same as Father Ahnsahnghong’s will.
Therefore, revising the word in Father’s Truth Book by following Heavenly Mother’s will is still following Father’s will.




2. The reason it is deleted

Why was this part deleted from the book? It is because some can fall away by distorting the words by only looking at that part like opposers. Heavenly Mother allowed us to take it out since She knew that Her children would fall away because of it. 2,000 years ago, ignorant people also tried to distort the words of the apostles and the Scriptures to their own destruction. It is the same with current opposers in this age.
2 Pe 3:16 He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.




3. Father’s teaching concerning the day or hour

To understand Father’s teaching completely, we must see all His teachings. When we only see part of it, we may easily misunderstand the true will of Father.
In the book, “The Mystery of God and the Spring of the Water of Life,” Father explained one generation is 40 years through the Bible, “ ‘I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened’ ” (Mt 24:34).

However, Father also taught that the words, “The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep” (Mt 25:5), is a prophecy about this age. In His book titled, “The Bridegroom Was a Long Time in Coming, and They All Became Drowsy and Fell Asleep,” He explained that the bridegroom cannot be a long time in coming without the set date, so the bridegroom must appear later than the set date.“The Bridegroom Was a Long Time in Coming, and They All Became Drowsy and Fell Asleep,” p. 30
How can we interpret the words of Mt 25:5, “the bridegroom was a long time in coming”? Without having a set time for the bridegroom to appear, there cannot be the record, “the bridegroom was a long time in coming(delayed – NKJV, RSV).” If there is not a date for when the bridegroom comes, the words, “a long time in coming,” do not make sense. There is no error in the Bible. Everything is written for our salvation.
In the NLT version, it says, “When the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and fell asleep.” This prophecy must be fulfilled in the last days. The bridegroom will certainly come late even if it is one month after the set date.







4. Slandering by any means

Don’t the opposers, who posted such claim, do not know the book, “The Bridegroom Was a Long Time in Coming, and They All Became Drowsy and Fell Asleep”?
They definitely know it because they mention the book to support their false claim on other contents. Despite that, they intentionally omit the words, “long time in coming,” and only emphasize 40 years, so that only the period of 40 years is the teaching of Father.

They even conclude that this prophecy is wrong. If they did not know the book, “The Bridegroom Was a Long Time in Coming, and They All Became Drowsy and Fell Asleep,” they could misunderstand the prophecy of 40 years. However, they already know the book and still slander the truth because they are the wicked who just want to hinder our church by any means.




<Supplementary Explanation>
1. Salvation does not depend on whether or not we know the date

Christ Ahnsahnghong taught that salvation does not depend on whether or not we know the day or hour. Keeping this in mind, we must believe in Father and Mother who have restored all the truth of the new covenant.From the Preface of “The Bridegroom Was a Long Time in Coming, and They All Became Drowsy and Fell Asleep”
Every prophecy in the Bible must be fulfilled. However, because Christ set the date and also said, “The bridegroom is a long time in coming,” it is a very difficult matter. However, those who firmly believe and obey the new covenant will receive eternal life. Salvation does not depend on whether or not you know the date, but it depends on whether or not you know and believe and obey the truth of the new covenant.If we do not believe the truth but focus on the date, we will be tempted by Satan and fall away from the truth and church before the day.
However, those who believe and obey the new covenant, regardless of the date, will be saved because “to obey is better than sacrifice.”
If someone knows the date of God’s coming and does not do any work, what would the master say? The master would say, “You wicked, lazy servant! Although you knew when I was coming, why didn’t you let others know?” However, to those who do not know the date but faithfully work for the master, he will say, “Good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things.” When you read this book, you will know what to do. Amen.





2. The purpose of making known the set times

In fact, it is not for us to know the times or dates God has set by His own authority (Ac 1:7). Nevertheless, the reason Father set the time of 40 years is firstly to fulfill the prophecy of Jonah, and secondly to wake us up so that we can prepare ourselves for the day of God.

1) Jonah’s being in the fish’s belly for three days was a prophecy of Jesus’ being buried in a tomb for three days. In the same way, Jonah’s preaching, “Nineveh will be destroyed in 40 days,” was a prophecy of the Second Coming Christ’s preaching.

2) When the saints think that God is a long time in coming, they may lose their passion for the gospel, hurt each other, and become friends with the world (Mt 24:48-51).
At the time of Jesus’ first coming, the disciples believed that they would ascend to heaven 2,000 years ago (1 Co 15:51; 1 Th 4:17). However, God did not correct them. Since the apostles thought that the day of God would come in their life time, they could
do their best until the end, and they had faith enough to receive the crown of life (2 Ti 4:7-8).
It is the same now. In order for us to work harder for heaven, Christ Ahnsahnghong had us feel that the day of God is close at hand.

Therefore, we should understand the will of God who wants us to make every effort to have enough faith to receive the crown of life. We should be born again to become the true children of God and save dying souls by working hard for the gospel.

Love is “Waiting”...



When I was in elementary school, I always tried to memorize the multiplication tables after supper.

Day by day, I would go and on memorizing after school.

Finally, it was the day when I succeeded.


My parents were full of smiles, and I was really proud of myself.


Since I was a slow learner, being anxious, I would always complain to my parents.


My parents would then just smile and pat my shoulders.


Looking at my exam papers full of red marks just like a red shower, they would have been more anxious than me thinking, "What if my child is way behind others?"


But they would never push me to study, but waited until I did well by myself.


Thinking of how my parents in my childhood, I believe my parents' life was an “endless waiting.”


When I was in my mother's womb, they waited for me to be born for a time of 10 months.


Even when I first started to walk, when I first started to talk, they waited.


I would cry day and night and would have annoyed them, not wanting to be apart from them for even a moment.



Though I got sick frequently making them always feel anxious, all that they remembered about me was a cute little baby toddling and saying "mommy or daddy."


Though I was slow and lacking compared to other children, they would think it's their entire fault and felt sorry.



They would always take care of me as an apple of their eyes, fed me the best food, and always prayed for me to grow well.


Parents call this kind of love, "the elders' love for the young," or "parental love."


The source of this love comes from the continuous time of waiting, and from the infinite belief towards their child.



Our Heavenly Parents, who came down to this earth to find Their lost children...


Our Heavenly Parents' love is much more than that.



“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! (Isa 49:15)”



Like how it says, Heavenly Mother willingly came with lowly clothes of a sinner.


Heavenly Parents' love is so deep that they would never give up though the children are slow to realize. Their children found in the long time of waiting, for 6,000 years.



They would always cover the children's sins, always give teachings full of love, guide them to the best ways, and always praise them even for their small efforts.



Though They would never have a day without worry or concern towards Their children, They would earnestly pray for them all night long, always firmly believing that their immature children would realize.



Through all this, they would forget Their safety.


Thinking about the heart of my Heavenly Parents, I look back, if I was truly a good daughter.


Though Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother is pleased seeing Their children uniting with each other, rather embracing my brothers and sisters with love, didn't I push them away from me just because they were different from me?



Though Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother always waiting and endured, rather waiting for my brothers and sisters to realize, didn't I just gave up on them?


Thinking about my past, I can't lift up my head being so sorry and embarrassed to my Heavenly Parents.


Though I said I knew Their hearts, those were the days which I never really tried to put Their words into actions.



I truly thank Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother for loving me, and waiting for a long time for this weak child to realize.



From now on, I will love my brothers and sisters, even the parts they are lacking, understand, help them, and walk the way of the gospel work which God is pleased with.
